A demo of the One Hand High version of "DOAA" was leaked onto the internet. A new version of "DOAA" was going to be featured on Bentley's debut album One Hand High, however, production of the album was cancelled. An acoustic version was performed live during the second set of the Summer Of Sonic 2009 event with Nick Jennison performing the guitars. During the first set of Summer Of Sonic 2009, there was a "DOAA" competition where the audience sang "DOAA" while Bentley and Svend Joscelyne (Dreadknux) picked three participants to perform "DOAA" on stage, a prize being awarded to the audience's favourite singer.

A ballad version of "Dreams of an Absolution" was performed live at the Summer Of Sonic 2008 event. JS Remix, and the 2011 version from the bi-lingual album TRANS//LATION 2. Known versions of "DOAA" include the in-game original, an unused instrumental, the Nightlight Remix, the K-Klub Remix, the LB vs. Several different versions and remixes of this song have been composed by Bentley Jones. The original version was performed by Lee Brotherton, the birth name of Bentley Jones, and used as the main theme of Silver the Hedgehog, and featured on the compilation album Sonic the Hedgehog Vocal Traxx: Several Wills.
